We were surprised to see Craig Nunes leaving Datrium a few weeks ago with all things he did for this company but we immediately realized that Craig had sure something in mind he will share soon. And he did as Nebulon evolved at a rapid pace developing a new approach to Cloud.The company was founded in 2018 by a famous group of 4 who already worked together during the 3Par adventure: David Scott, Siamak Nazari, Sean Etaati and Craig Nunes. Other key members of the team came from Google, DeepLearning.ai, Stanford University and HPE/3Par of course.
We don't have any info about funding, we find only 5 people on LinkedIn and the company doesn't have yet a website. The team is based in Los Altos, CA. The mission is around storage for Hybrid IT building a new approach for what they called Cloud-Defined Storage, first time we heard this term. We hope to meet soon the team and learn more from Nebulon with The IT Press Tour.
