CTera adds S3 access to NAS

CTera Networks, known for its innovative file storage services, and awarded multiple times by Coldago Research, just announced a key iteration for its product with CTera Fusion.

This development represents a major step forward unifying file and object access in fact adding S3 to SMB and NFS serving same content. Having introduced this need as a paramount need 10 years ago, companies added progressively this at different pace, but it is today just a "Me Too" approach. This version offers in place read and write, single namespace across file and objects, multipart uploads and pre-signed URLs, HA, scalability and transfer and at rest encryption. The CTera Fusion has a significant change in the U3 index for the company.
