Fabrix is back with MediaKind

Ericsson, worldwide leader in telecommunications, has made a clear strategic move towards 5G and has decided to invest massive amounts of money in the new network infrastructure. It means they quit the media industry with the complete transfer of MediaKind, its business renamed from Ericsson Media Solutions in July 2018, towards One Equity Partners, they keep 49% of the shares.

Companies acquired in the past in tht activity are now included in that portfolio such Aspex, Azuki Systems, Envivio, Fabrix Systems, HyCGroup, Microsoft Mediaroom and Tandberg Television.

Among these products, Fabrix, a reference in video storage and processing, represents the core of the platform, it is named VSPP for Video and Storage Processing Platform.
