Basho Technologies (www.basho.com), leader in NoSQL, made an interesting comment during the last IT Press Tour about CRDT - Conflict-free Replicated Data Type - introduced by March Shapiro several years ago. The company introduced with KV 2.0 a new set of data types inspired by CRDTs: flags, registers, counters, sets and maps. This demonstrates the leading position of Basho in distributed development and environment.
