CTERA chooses a new CEO

CTERA, a leader in cloud file storage, has made a series of promotions two days ago during the 49th edition of The IT Press Tour in Israel.

Oded Nagel is promoted CEO as Liran Eshel moves to Executive Chairman. At the same time Michael Amselem becomes Chief Revenue Officer and Saimon Michelson is elevated to Vice President of Alliances. It marks a significant moment in the CTERA's life and the company enters into a new era.

The firm had a great FY22 with 38% growth in revenue reaching more 150PB under management. CTERA was once again recognized by various analysts and among them Coldago Research as a leader in Cloud File Storage.

And the team continues to lead this segment with new product services announcements that will arrive before the summer. I will cover this in the next few days.

StorONE recruits Jeff Lamothe

StorONE, an alternative storage management player for SME, just recruited Jeff Lamothe as the product guy. We met him yesterday at the company HQ in Ra'anana in Israel for the 1st session of the 49th edition of The IT Press Tour. Last session we did with the team was before Covid in 2019 and we measured all the progress they made on the product side. I will cover this session in details in a few days.
