VAST Data 2.0 is here

VAST Data, fast growing file storage player, introduced recently the v2 of its Universal Storage product.

In fact, this release brings to the market 3 things essentially:

• snapshots without any metadata and data copies leveraging a continuous running engine,
• support for AI Applications with NFS over RDMA to boost bandwidth with 20GB/s with a single NFS client,
• and asymmetric cluster expansion facilitating addition of nodes with different characteristics, models and generation.
