UpBound a recent company started by Bassam Tabbara, inventor of Rook, and former CTO of Quantum following Symform acquisition a few years ago, just emerges with $9M raised from GV.Based in Seattle, the company develops a cloud-native computing approach on Kubernetes that enables organizations to run, scale and optimize their services across multiple clusters, clouds and hybrid deployments. To refresh minds, Rook is an open source framework for Kubernetes initiated by Mr Tabbara dedicated to stateful workloads.
