Pavilion Data, a leader in fast unified data storage powered by NVMe-oF, just appointed a new CEO, Dario Zamarian. The company is at a special moment of its trajectory having to accelerate rapidly its market penetration. In fact we even anticipate a new round for the company to feed this strategy. The company seems to reach some limits in their go-to-market model without big channel and oem partners.
We notice that Mike Gustafson, chairman of the board for Pavilion Data, was CEO of BlueArc when Chris McBride was SVP Sales and for a few months McBride leads the sale effort at Pavilion. It was also the case at Druva where McBride spent some time there as well. Loop closes.
