Quantum Myriad is GA

Quantum, the champion of secondary storage, has made Myriad generally available for its 1.0 release, representing a major step in such solution following StorNext impact on the industry. During an intense early access program, users and partners had the opportunity ot test and stress Myriad and results are really positive insisting on the simplicity of the deployment and operations of the cluster and its performance capabilities. With today only NFS available, these testers expect SMB and S3 to be available rapidly in 2024.

It means that Quantum development team and Brian Pawlowski had clearly made right choices in term of architecture and design being a full flash all NVMe file and objet solution.

It confirms also 2 things, Quantum strategy for the future being a full software play centered around Active Scale for secondary storage and Myriad for primary storage serving file and objects.
